Did you know? If you had 300 billion brothers and sisters. You would still not be exactly the same as them. Neither, would they be exactly same as each other. Every human is born unique to this would. God is the main and only contributor to insert that individuality into that person. It’s sad to see that in today’s society respect towards individuality has ceased to exist. Today I mainly see people who just wants to fit in to society rather than stand out. Wheres individuality gone and how were imitators born ?
A quote that I came across while reading a book. “Imitating is suicide” It just doesn’t mean that you literally kill yourself but rather you kill you own individual personality. Be a lion not a buffalo. Yes, it’s funny but it has meaning. A lion wakes up everyday knowing that he must run faster than his prey or else he will starve. He hunts alone. He has his own way of life. Buffalo! He disappears to his heard. Do I need to explain more ?
What are you waiting for ? Bring out the great person within you! Remember this along the way, the greatest thinkers are the people who dare to be themself. There’s no other better feeling in the world than being yourself.
Today I got my monthly exams starting. Three subjects, English, Business Studies & Accounts and History. So , as I woke up this morning and getting my self ready for school I suddenly felt my stomach my gurgling and rumbling. It was a another bad stomach. I don’t know if I am to take this as a good thing or bad thing because I get to stay home and not go to school to face any exam that day! 😀
You could call it a blessing in disguise (students point of view :p ) because I really was not ready for the exam!
Like wise I was staying at home I was thinking of people like us living in different parts of the world. Do they have these kinds blessings? Well, I don’t believe they just the same story as mine but still do they?
As every one of us know there are people dying and suffering out there. Struggling to find a sip of water to drink some food to ease their hunger. I could admit these people know much about stomach aches. Sometimes I think I’m guilty of enjoying that I had a stomach ache so that I could stay at home without facing my exams.
Read an article today, “Hunger and malnutrition are in fact the number one risk to the health worldwide — greater than AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis combined.” Ouch….!
25,000 people die every day because of starvation? These people are humans just like us, living with a family; father, mother, brother, sister except that they are starving and on the verge of death. We are lucky that we are not one of them. Well, everyone knows the fact that people suffer from hunger, diseases and other things but are we sensible enough to understand the pain and suffering the people undergo? Every time I hear or see some one suffering I try to imagine what if the kids begging for food in the streets is me ? What would be going through my mind ? Only then I could really feel the pain of it. Most of friends say they feel comfortable talking to me about their problems. It must this reason that you imagine yourself that you are that unfortunate person who is suffering. You know, they don’t really have to suffer. After all these years of developments and other crap all the countries have been doing. It’s high time to focus on finding a solution to these problems or the least we can do is be part of the solution. There are more than a million organizations around the world that helps to feed them but for one minute we must stop and ask ourselves a very simple thing; what is role we can play in it? It is our collective responsibility to help them in whatever way we can and not waste food on our side of the world.Has anyone asked the question why is Africa the most affected continent? ( I’m just going to Google it and find out!) Africa is the most affected continent from hunger in the whole world and one thing we must always remember when we attempt to waste ‘Children in Africa starve while you just waste’
Sometimes in life we feel so depressed,
but unlike you, someone somewhere is not so blessed.
Somewhere in Burma a Muslim weeps,
while the rest of the world sleeps.
Somewhere in the west, Muslims are labelled as terrorists,
after the turn over events of the 9/11 twist.
Somewhere in a country a Muslim struggles to follow the Islamic lifestyle,
while its government gleefully smile.
Somewhere a Muslim brother dies in the midst of war
while he has nothing to do with all the deaths galore.
Some where a poor dad cries,
when he cant help his family to a bowl of rice.
Somewhere, a Muslim mother painfully sighs,
for his child the last time it closed its eyes.
Some where, a man ponders if Muslims are to be blamed on themselves.
After all, these are their countries and their affairs dispersed on the shelves.
Somewhere the hypocrisy and double standard of the super power countries
towards the Muslims is indeed shocking to see.
Somewhere someone in the world believes people are trying to destroy Islamic values and the Muslim *Ummah,
which is against any human law.
Somewhere, someone is praying “Oh lord! Save this Ummah! and save this people”
from this killing needle.
Somewhere in this world some one must see that Muslims in this world are not totally free
which every suffering soul shall sadly agree.
